Biography of Christine D. Brown

       Christine Donahue Brown was admitted to the Bar of the State of Connecticut in 1996. Upon admission to the Bar, Attorney Brown served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Judge John W. Moran in the Judicial District of Fairfield, and in early 1997 entered into private practice.
       Christine’s practice has focused primarily on civil trial law; however she also enjoys experience in the areas of criminal defense, real estate transactions, family law and trust/estate law.
       Christine was recently appointed by the Honorable Mayor John Fabrizi to the position of Assistant City Attorney for the City of Bridgeport. Christine’s responsibilities will include defending the city and its employees in civil matters involving negligence, injunctions, violations of USC Section 1983, wrongful death and employment matters.
       Christine received her law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society, and was a member of the National Moot Court Team. She graduated from Boston College in 1991, where she served as Resident and Senior Staff Assistant for her Junior and Senior years.
       Christine was a member of the Trumbull Town Council for one term from 1996 to 1997. She continues to be involved in the community through her association with various local agencies. She is presently Second Vice President on the Trumbull Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, executive committee member on the Playhouse on the Green Board of Directors and a member of both the St. Vincent’s Special Needs Center and the Bridgeport Regional Business Council Boards of Directors.
       Christine’s greatest volunteer commitment is to The Kennedy Center, Inc. where she serves as Founder and Chairman of the Cabaret/Auction, an annual fundraiser that has raised over half a million dollars for the organization.
        Christine is married to Stephen Brown, who is also an attorney with the law firmof Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman and Dicker. They are the parents of two girls, Caitlin Moreen, 3, and Colleen Crosby, 2. They reside in Trumbull Connecticut.
